Tiles are supplied by the homeowner unless quoted otherwise. OSCAR can source standard tiles at cost + 10% markup if requested at booking. Diagonal or herringbone lay patterns add 15% to installation price.
Tile work questions
Yes, by default the homeowner supplies tiles. This gives you full control over material choice. If you would prefer OSCAR to source standard tiles, we can do so at cost + 10% markup — request this at booking. The price quoted includes adhesive, grout, and labour regardless.
Standard ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles are all supported. Extra-large format tiles (above 80cm × 80cm) and traditional azulejo with irregular thickness may require a custom quote due to additional handling time. Let us know at booking if your tiles are non-standard format.
Standard adhesive cures in 24 hours (light use). Grout cures in 24–48 hours. For wet area use (shower, bath), 48 hours is recommended before exposing to water. The professional will advise based on the specific materials used.
